Definitions:

1) Consolidation of Media Ownership. Announcing of selling media ownership and publishing to another music group.

Sony Music Entertainment

Sony music is based in Japan. 

In terms of marketing, it includes:

• Financial Services
• Electronics and communications
• Film production and distribution 
• TV production and distribution 
• Games development 

Warner Music Group

• Was formerly owned by Time Warner. 
• In may 2011, it announced it's privatisation. 
• Warner music is just in fact a spin off. 

Universal Music Group

• Vivendi is part of the music group. It was founded in Paris, 1853. As a water company, supplying water To many parts of France. 
• It now offers other music businesses
