Lesson 1: Music Consumption

1) I think obtaining music is easier to do than it was n the last years. For example, compared to many decades ago, there was no internet. Therefore simple downloads and access to music was not around - your favourite song could not be called on command. You would just have to wait until it came on the radio.
2)To find out about music that's new for you is to search it up on the internet, search up its genre and learn its details.
3) I obtain my music by the use of apps from the app store.
4) I use my phone to listen to music.

16,50 people were asked what they use to listen to music.

The highest proportion was led by Streaming Music Devices. This is because of how house-friendly they are, as well as car-friendly. The high quality of sound, as well as the quantity.

The lowest proportion was YouTube, maybe since although it is easy access, but it has a lot of inconveniences which make the experience difficult.

Despite being around a long time, radio still is quite popular as it holds over 1/4 of the proportion. Being 26%. This is because of the entertainment it provides, as well as the group of people it still comes across as appealing to.

In terms of internet radio, ages 15-19 are the ones who listen the most. They are at 67%.

25-34 are at 59%.Those who are at the age of 50 or above, have the lowest proportion, being 21%.

On websites such as Spotify, which is highly known-of, aren't exactly as popular is it appears, as only 1/4 pays monthly, being dedicated members.

Another part of the music format popularity is where it can be accessed, and how conveniently it is done so. For example, 23% of people listen to their music more in the car. This is because there is little to do in the car, so music is the only suitable option to make the minutes and hours feel shorter. 16% of people listen to it whilst working. As it reinforces concentration, 15% is done whilst doing choirs, as once again, it helps make the boring task more bearable. 13% is done doing activities alone, and 12% for working out.

However, streaming is said to be the one music part that is dominating the formats so far.
